This Pub is Permanently Closed

Small bar which opened in April 1981 and was attached to the Chez Jean French restaurant. The first pint (Watneys Stag) was pulled by the actress June Whitfield. The beer range improved (King & Barnes Sussex Bitter), but the bar closed in the early 1990s. Houses are now built on the site.
