A large, mainly open-plan, welcoming village pub in the outer suburbs of Southampton. The pub has contemporary grey decor with wooden floors/beams and a large fireplace at one end. The bar serves four cask beers and is adorned with beer jugs/tankands. To the left of the pub is a large, well-kept, enclosed, paved garden with plenty of seating, some of which is under cover. Varied modern pub menu with specials and roasts on Sunday. A quiz is held on Tuesdays.
