A comfortable, friendly and welcoming pub in the rural village of King's Somborne. The pub is at the centre of the village on the West side of the A3057 main road, opposite the church (dating from the early 13th century) and World War I memorial on the village green. The low-ceilinged bar is beamed, has 5 handpumps, leather sofas and a large fireplace with a wood burner. The restaurant serves home made food from both the menu and the specials board behind the bar. Visitors wishing to sit outside can do so both in front of the pub and also in the garden.
