The Boot Inn is an immaculate 18th century half-timbered building, very extensively refurbished; so presumably the delicate pargeting is modern. At the front of the pub is a narrow garden overlooking the quiet village centre. At the rear is a smokers covered patio, a car park, and beyond that a large natural garden edged by a tranquil stretch of the River Test. In summer there is a riverside garden grill. Inside is a comfortable wood furnished bar with wood-burner, and beyond is a large dining room. Good quality food is served, there being separate bar & restaurant menus. Food tends to be expensive - Roast Beef on a Sunday is £19.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 2 regular beers.
