A large pub with a single, L-shaped bar and three real fires. Earliest records show it in 1753 as the Booth's Arms. It has many cosy alcoves and small rooms in which to drink or eat, and there is an extensive outdoor seating area. Separate lunch and dinner menus offer quality fare, including an extensive vegetarian / vegan menu. Wheelchair access is to part of the pub only, and suitably equipped facilities are provided by the adjacent public toilets.
Hours vary by season, check website. Those shown here are from September 2025.
