Situated in the heart of the village, this 1860s stone built family owned free house remains popular with locals and visitors. The five cask handpumps are located in the rear lounge area of the two room pub. Good-value food is served some lunchtimes and most evenings (except Mon and Sun eve) and there are occasional music events, usually around Public Holidays. Sporting events are shown on large screens. There is a small car park and a "real suntrap" outdoor seating area at the front.
