Village pub with food and a restaurant. Accredited for beer quality 2024
An independent and popular community and dining pub in the Worcestershire countryside with a bar and a separate restaurant area. It was completely refurbished in Spring 2022 with a fresh new look, including log-burners in the lounge bar and restaurant, and an attractive and spacious illuminated garden.
Locals, walkers and families with well-behaved children are all welcomed at this traditional village pub. Being close to Shrawley Woods, it's well placed for a pint after a walk, and dogs are welcome. It’s an ideal place for ramblers and dog walkers with parking available at the back and an honesty box that helps to keep the facility available. A games box in the bar has quirky contents that keeps both adults and children amused.
Bar meals are served from the kitchen at lunchtimes with a full menu in the evenings. Visiting food vans add to the interest. On Sundays, traditional lunches are served until 5pm.
The spacious garden has plenty of seating, great for hot summer days.
Three well-kept beers are from Wye Valley and other local breweries.
Level access from the rear car park, no adapted WC.
