Rural pub and restaurant, two miles from Stourport on the road to Great Witley.
The small main bar is on the left, with a small games room down a few steps behind it, and a separate room on the right used as the restaurant and as extra bar seating. The bar has white paintwork, diamond-leaded windows including a large bay at the side, a brick fireplace with a wood-burning stove and is mostly carpeted.
The single real ale is from local breweries. Good value meals are available all week, including Sunday lunches, meal deals including Curry Wednesday and Fish & Chip Friday, and a children's menu. Food is all prepared and cooked on the premises, and menus change weekly. The TV in the bar shows live sports and music videos, and there is a quiz on the last Sunday of the month.
The attractive garden has a lawn, patio, smoking shelter, marquee, a play area for children and a bowling green which can be hired. There is a large, sloping car park. Three en-suite bedrooms (one double and two twin). A function room upstairs for 20 people is also available.
An unusual feature is the annual lawn mower racing event on the first Sunday in May.
Note that only the restaurant is open at lunchtimes during Mondays to Thursdays.
