At the end of the High Street overlooking the the canal, the pub is a free house supplied by Wye Valley Brewery, local and national breweries, and it offers a changing selection of excellent quality beers.
The main bar has low beamed ceilings and cosy corners. Upstairs, the additional seating area and function room was originally a chapel and retains many recognisable features and windows.
At the back, the beer garden overlooks the canal and has a shelter, tables and raised flower beds. Moorings are just through the bridge towards the basins.
The varied home-cooked food menu includes doorstep sandwiches, baguettes, steaks, fish, vegan and vegetarian meals and everything in between. Food is served all week except on Mondays and Sunday evenings.
Beers are from Wye Valley plus guest ales and two ciders on hand pull.
It won Wyre Forest CAMRA Silver Pub of the Year 2018, Gold in 2020 and Bronze in 2023 for its friendly welcome, lively atmosphere, music events and excellent quality beers.
Cycles can be locked to bars at the top of the ramp from the towpath.
Level access to all areas on the ground floor, stepped access to WCs (not adapted).
