Pub and live music venue offering three real ales and mediterranean food.
The large, comfortable, lounge bar is decorated with vinyl LPs setting the scene as a pub by day and music venue in the evening. The latest bands are on Facebook, open-mic night is Thursday and a folk session on Sunday afternoons. Also on the second Sunday of each month there's a late afternoon spoken word event for poets and wordsmiths.
The integral bistro serves food for the pub, by 'The Naughty Little Chef', from a wood-fired oven and includes pizzas and warm ciabattas. Breakfast is served all day. Real ales on the bar are from Wye Valley and local breweries. A discount of 20p/pint is offered to CAMRA members on real ales.
At the back there's a small secluded and tranquil garden with artistic furniture and illuminations, and to the front there's an enclosed seating area. An interesting and unusual venue, well worth a visit.
Level access to the bar and WCs (not adapted).
