A traditional corner local by the old harbour pier which originally opened in 1790. The public bar retains its dark wood panelling and stone floors of Easdale slate. Maritime artefacts are displayed on the walls and currency notes from many nations cover the wooden beams. The comfortable lounge upstairs only occasionally has real ale, but it is worth taking a look to admire the stained-glass panels acquired from an Irish monastery.
