Conveniently located Wetherspoon named after the famous whirlpool between Jura and Scarba. It is close to the railway and bus stations and the ferry terminal, with views across Oban Bay and the island of Kerrera. The interior has an exposed wood-panelled roof and the layout is open and spacious. A wide range of beers can be found, often from English breweries. The pub is enlivened by much nautical ephemera including a casting of a sea eagle.
Alcohol is available from 11am.
