Located at the northern end of Sleaford, near the A17 Holdingham roundabout. The pub boasts a modern open-plan interior with a mix of seating styles. A multicoloured tile floor surrounds the wooden bar front. The restaurant area is of garden room format, with large picture windows. Very much food orientated, being part of the Flaming Grill chain, there are plenty of food offers. Can be very busy at certain times, so advance booking for meals is advisable. On the site of a coaching Inn, the name refers to the person who "scotched" the wheels of carriages.
