An 18th-century coaching inn on the London to Lincoln road that has had several names during its lifetime, reverting to the original name when taken over by Wetherspoon a few years ago. Despite being remodelled as partly open plan, it retains an intimate atmosphere. As the Lion Hotel it hosted the opening dinner for the Sleaford Railway, an event that marked the start of the decline in coaching trade. Opens for breakfast at 8am.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 3 regular beers.
