First recorded as a pub in 1835 bought by Mark and James Morrell when they started buying out-of-Oxford pubs. Fairly basic with a lively bar area with pool table and a juke box, and a quieter lounge. Moved from Greene King to Admiral, refurbished, and open again December 2025 although still to let on Admiral web site. Now has sports TV and some online presence (web site not active at April 2026) and new tenants seem very lively.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 1 regular beer.
