The first Wetherspoon’s pub in the area, this was opened in 2003. It's named after the founder of Morris Motors, later Lord Nuffield, not the polymath who was influential in the Arts & Crafts movement. If you want some daylight and a view, then sit at the front in the raised area; the rear of the pub is windowless and a bit soulless. Nevertheless, it’s the best place for a choice of ale in the area and has a suggestion box for customers to request beers they would like to see.
This Pub serves 3 changing beers and 3 regular beers.
Changing beers typically include: Renegade (varies) , Vale - Gravitas , White Horse (varies)
