Located in the pedestrianised town centre close to the Everyman Theatre, this large open plan pub with the mixed atmosphere of cafe, wine-bar and pub is usually busy both day and night, catering for a wide range of customers. Large covered courtyard to the front is popular in summer. Six hand pumps with normally 4 beers and 2 non real ciders.

No real ale in the separate rear bar, known as "The Regent at Copa" which can be accessed either from the main pub or via an entrance in County Court Road.
