Large town-centre Wetherspoon on two floors in a former bank. The building retains many fine architectural features, the upper floor taking the form of a gallery with a cosy library area with views into the floor below.
Ten ales and two ciders are generally available including the three regular beers, three of which are also available from the upper floor bar. As with many Wetherspoon pubs, the internal wall decor provides interesting facts about the building and other local history.
Opens at 7am for breakfast, food served until 11pm.
