This mid-Victorian pub, with the same licensee for over 25 years, offers a warm welcome. The interior is reminiscent of country pubs of the middle of the last century. The central bar with handpump dispense serves two rooms, one with a pool table and dartboard. There is an adjacent camping field with toilet block. There are various theme nights including a Lamp Night when their collection of oil lamps is lit and electric lights turned off, creating a relaxed atmosphere.
