Run by the local community since September 2023 after a campaign to save it from closure. It has three rooms and a snug, one of which is used as an occasional dining area. The interior is modern and stylish with three real ales, real fires and is dog friendly. There is a large car park opposite and a large outside grassed area. Future plans include six bedroom accommodation. Many events and themed food evenings are arranged - see Facebook.
The Falcon Inn is operated by a registered Community Benefit Society and run by full-time Pub Manager and Deputy Pub Manager.
All cask ales are sourced from Shropshire and adjoining counties. The main Shropshire breweries are Hobsons, Three Tuns, Salopian, Ludlow, Noble and NewBrew - the last two from only 5 miles away, in Market Drayton and Newport respectively. A popular ale from each in turn is available as a Cask Ale of the Month - providing a constant offering of a familiar pint that customers like but sharing the business amongst the breweries who have been very supportive in getting the pub back up and running.
These ales are supplemented by an array of others from other local breweries, including AJ's (Walsall), Big Hand (Wrexham), Bewdley Brewery, and Brew 61 (Worcestershire).
Weekly pop-up kitchens provide a hot-food offering and a cold-food menu is expanding, with all produce sourced locally

Community Run
When the last tenants of their village pub closed the doors in December 2022, the residents of Hinstock were determined to save it. After a public meeting in the Memorial Hall in February 2023, an unincorporated community group was formed by a large number of the parish’s households. The group have registered the pub as an ACV, applied to the Plunkett Foundation for support, explored potential funding options, including grants, donations and shareholding, registered The Falcon Inn Community Pub Limited as a Community Benefit Society. Whilst the society is continuing to pursue the objective of owning the pub, they have taken a lease on the pub from the current owner, and this pub is now run by the community group.
See the community group's website for more details.
