This pub caters for meals rather than beer possibly because it lies nearly 1.5 miles from the town.

It has a pleasant outside seating area and makes a great stopping off point if you're on a walk from the town. The pub sign always raises a smile it has a picture of the King saying I rule all, a Soldier saying I fight for all, a Preacher saying I prey for all and finally the forth, a layman saying I pay for all, the four alls, rather thought provoking.
