A warm, friendly village local. Completely renovated and refurbished to a high standard by Black Country Ales in late 2021. There is a single bar which rambles around several distinct drinking areas. Locally sourced cobs and sausage rolls & pork pies from Marshalls Butchers in Penkridge with other bar snacks are available. Two of the twelve handpumps are reserved for ciders. Monthly music& quiz nights, see the pub website for details Street car parking and a carpark at the top of market street, but space can be limited. Six Nations & England rugby games are shown but otherwise no tv.
