Dating as far back as 1793 the Littleton Arms was a coaching inn that now provides a modern hotel with a comfortable interior and an outside patio area. The four beers on handpump include several from Davenports, who operate the pub, and a local beer, the number of beers might vary. A regularly updated food menu is served throughout the day using locally sourced and freshly prepared food. Check the pub's website or Facebook page for details.
Historic Interest
When William Cotton gave up the business in 1837 there was a sale of his effects on 20th March, these included brewing vessels, 2 malt mills, two large mash tuns and 15 excellent casks. This more than suggests that he was brewing either at the inn or at his farm. As the items were for sale at the inn it seems likely that is where he was brewing.
This Pub serves 4 changing beers and 0 regular beers.
