Built in the mid sixties by the Shrewsbury & Wem Brewing Co. A comfortable estate pub with a large spacious lounge. There are two pool tables in a separate area at the back of the bar and multiple TV screens of various sizes dotted round the pub Live music is hosted at weekends. Situated just across the roundabout from the Radio Shropshire studios. There are several tables outside the front.

Major renovation in the Summer of 2019 resulted in a spruced up interior and a name change with Inn being added to the name.

Historic Interest

The name recalls the former Sentinel factory which was close by and was noted for the manufacture of steam wagons. The site was later acquired by Rolls Royce and latterly Caterpillar.
