Black and white beamed pub dating back to 1593. Re-opened in May 2018 after a wholescale, but very tasteful, refurbishment by Joule's brewery. The original parts of the building have been taken back to the structure, revealing bare brickwork and beams, and the small room behind the bar has been returned to its original use as a cosy snug, complete with wood-burner. Elsewhere, the indoor area has been greatly extended to the side and rear in a fashion sympathetic to the rest of the pub.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 3 regular beers.
