Accredited for beer quality 2022
Situated at the south end of the village the Green Dragon is a welcoming rural pub. The central bar faces the entrance with a small seating area to the right. To the left is the main seating area with a wood burning stove for winter days. There is a restuarant are to the far right. The garden has an outdoor bar for the summer.
The bar boasts seven handpumps though they are not all in use. Most of the beers are from local breweries though they sometimes get batches of beers from breweries rarely seen in this neck of the woods. A visit in Novemeber 2024 elicited beers from Dorking Brewery.
Card payment is accepted, but cash is much preferred.
Background music is subdued.
The 435 Shrewsbury - Ludlow bus stops outside. The service is hourly Mon - Fri and roughly every two hours on Saturday until early evening. There is no Sunday service.
As it's situated in the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there's an abundance of walks in the area.
