This 16th Century former coaching inn is set on a hilltop in the scenic South Shropshire hills. It is a low beamed old fashioned sort of place, and with it being comfortable and friendly, it's well worth seeking out. There are some tables outside the front . To the rear is a carpark and garden with magnificent views. The Green Caravan Park is about half a mile away at the rear of The Inn on the Green (q.v.), but the road down to it is very steep.

Was for sale in April 2024 and was closed for a while, reopening on 27/9/24. The details shown here may have changed. A visit needs to be made so updates can be effected.
