The Stretton Ale House has been re-incarnated as the Old Bike Shop Bar under new management and ownership reopening in November 2024. The premises is quite small and is furnished with wooden tables and chairs and light wooden walls. Four handpumps dispense a varying range of three real ales with the fourth reserved for cider, a varying cider, sometimes from small local producers (e.g.Longmynd & Cider House cloudy) which is "real" as defined by CAMRA and sometimes from Weston's which isn't. A selection of five "craft" keg beers are also available. There is no music or TVs.
