This Hotel is Closed Long Term

This is a family owned and operated guest house in the small village of Shillingford.

It is situated by the National Trails Thames Path and provides a convenient overnight stopover for that purpose.

Believed to have closed early 2020 during the Covid pandemic and never reopened.

Historic Interest

Previously called the New Inn, the building dates from the early to mid-eighteenth century with the earliest recorded licensee in 1753. The pub was renamed as the Kingfisher Inn during the 1970s and subsequently became a hotel.
