Mainly a restaurant, but drinkers are still welcome in the small bar area
After refurbishment in August/September 2024 it reopened with the new name of Greyhound Grill. Unfortunately, it now no longer serves real ale and the handpumps have been removed. Local beers, such as Rebellion IPA, are available, but in keg form only.
Originally a Wethered pub, it has been a freehouse since the early 2000s. Although mainly a restaurant with tables laid out for dining, there is a central small bar area where customers are welcome to pop in for drinks only. There are no real ales, however, but an extensive line of keg fonts, which include ales from local breweries.. The dining room to the right is in an old barn conversion and is filled with trinkets, pictures and artefacts to give it a cosy and intimate feel. The menu includes comforting pub classics as well as signature dishes. Fresh, seasonal food is key, more often than not supplied by local producers.
