Reopened on 1 November 2025 with new tenants having been closed for a month for cleaning.

A traditional country pub, with a warm welcome. Very pleasant and cosy traditional bar area with simple wooden tables and chairs, with an open fire in winter, plus a separate dining area. A classic pub menu, cooked to order from fresh ingredients, that are sourced as locally as possible.

Large lawned garden with patio area is very popular with customers and is also used for many successful private functions.

The pub also has six contemporary en-suite rooms in separate annexe with breakfast served 7.30am-9.30am Mon-Fri & 8am-9.30am Sat, Sun & Bank Holidays.
