Pub CLOSED FOR REFURBISHMENT IN OCTOBER 2024.

REOPENING DATE IS GIVEN AS "IN 2025"

Handpumps removed since the Covid pandemic.

Historically known as the Greyhound and renamed in 2017 as a destination for families, with an Alice in Wonderland theme including striking murals of rabbits and roses on both internal and external walls. Retains some period features, including the ceiling and plasterwork cornice.

The garden is reputedly the largest in Streatham and is popular with families throughout the year.

TV sports, especially football, are shown. A large projector screen is used for big matches and events.

The pub was known as Greyhound Brewery when famously a brewpub for a while in the 1980s and 1990s brewing Greyhound Bitter, Streatham Strong and Streatham Dynamite, plus 'XXX Pedigree Mild' OG 1036-1038, possibly the only mild brewed in London at the time, according to its brewer.

Historic Interest

Local listing:- 1930 public house. Vernacular revival style – red brick and render. Casement windows with leaded lights. Plain clay tiled roof with chimneys. Screen wall to garden. Some interior features including lofty billiards hall.
