Very popular traditional community local within a residential area. It comprises two rooms, a comfortably furnished lounge to the left of the entrance and a games room to the right, divided by a central bar. Up to four real ales are offered, split between the two rooms, and covering a range of styles. There is usually at least one from a local brewery and occasionally with some from further afield. A beer garden is located off the lounge. There is a regular and local clientele. A well-used community board is provided in the lounge. A Wednesday night quiz is held from 9.30pm. Free pool on Thursdays. A DJ and karaoke night is held on Saturdays. There are live music performances, usually monthly, on Sundays from 5pm.
