Proper village local situated in the High Street near the ancient Market Cross. A rare

two-bar pub; a public bar with pool table and TV and a quieter lounge. Also features a large garden and separate skittle alley. The Gent's toilet is outside. The pub runs a range of activities including skittles, meat draws and coffee and cakes on Saturday mornings.
