A Marstons all day dining pub situated on the A610 between Ripley and Ambergate. Has three handpulls but not all are in constant use. It became regionally famous when first opened due to the presence of a large yellow excavator on the roof, now removed for safety reasons and replaced with a smaller version at the roadside. Built on the site of former Cromford Canal buildings with some old walls remaining.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers (from the Marston's group.) and 0 regular beers.
