Audio Description

Hook Norton’s new seasonal cask beer, Paddock’s Pour, is being launched with a tasting at the George at Brailes in Oxfordshire.

The brewery said the newcomer is easy drinking, at 3.9 per cent ABV, plus full of character. “Paddock’s Pour is all about balance and easy drinking,” said Ed Clarke, lead brewer and the latest of six generations of brewers at Hook Norton.

“It’s a bright, characterful cask ale that nods to tradition while keeping a lively pace. Launching it at the George at Brailes feels like the perfect finishing post, excuse the racing puns."

Jess Butterworth at the George said: “We’re absolutely delighted to be welcoming Paddock’s Pour. We love working with Hook Norton and we can’t wait to share this with everyone. It’s always special to host events like this – there’s such a great buzz in the pub, and it’s a wonderful chance for everyone to come together, try something new and celebrate great beer brewed just down the road.”

The launch is 5 March from 6-7pm.
