Tastefully refurbished and reopened in August 2023 after a long closure it

retains a lot of its original features including etched and leaded windows

at the front. Inside it has a long narrow bar area with small bistro to

one side. Just inside the door is a picture and small piece of history

about Joe Moody, publican from 1938 to 1955.

Situated close to the village green with outside seating both overlooking

the green at the front and in a courtyard behind the pub
