The cosy wood-panelled public bar, with a real fire at its heart, is the centre of this pub. There is also an old Younger's brewery mirror, collections of fishing gear and joinery tools, photos of bygone Norham. Area popular with tourists, a ruined castle and nearby former railway station is a museum. The Tweed Cycle Way and 67 bus passes nearby. Had a mayor lovely refurbishment in 2019 with large dining room overlooking beer garden at rear and now 9 en suite rooms. A well was discovered under the floor and is now available to view in the ladies toilet with a glass top on.
