This Pub is Permanently Closed

Currently run as a B&B.

Situated in the small village of Clifton Hampden close to the River Thames and dating from 1600. This was a classic thatched pub with multi-roomed interior, inglenook fireplaces, low beams and plenty of character.

Now a small B&B hotel located a short walk from the Thames. No restaurant nor pub in the building.

Historic Interest

Historic England Grade II listed, entry number 1059816. Built 17th century with late 18th century additions to rear, and 20th century timber framed porch to the right.
