This Pub is Closed Long Term

Accredited for beer quality 2022.

Closed yet again on 10/11/24, the fourth time since mid 2023. Is still closed as of 20/5/25. Admiral Taverns are asking £20,000pa rent, rather a lot for a back street pub with no kitchen in a quiet town.

Back street local that is under new management as of 28/5/24 - the third change of proprietorship within the last 12 months. The pub is divided into three separate areas, the left hand side contains the dart board and pool table. The rear part houses a TV for sport. The bar sports four handpumps, only two of which are in use at present, but it is intended to have then all in use in due course.

Food is not served on a regular basis at present, though barbecues and buffet nights are in the offing. Live music is stasged fortnightly.
