Accredited for beer quality 2022.

After a period of closure, this reopened in early September 2024.

Situated near the top of the High Street, the interior is long and fairly narrow with comfortable seating. At one end there is a pool table, dart board and fruit machines. There is an abundance of TV screens, usually showing various sports. Food is not available at present.

There are three handpumps, but none serving real ale currently.

Historic Interest

In 2015 the pub's owners were the inaugural winners of the Shrewsbury & West Shropshire 'Bill Bainbridge' Trophy, a new local award for saving or resurrecting a Real Ale facility. This recognized their work in restoring the Cock & Greyhound.
