Situated at the top of the high street, this establishment has a long, narrow bar with a pool table and dart board at one end. TV screens proliferate. Has started selling real ale again as of late 2025 in the form of beer(s) from Spitting Feathers Brewery. A visit is pending to ascertain further details.

Historic Interest

In 2015 the pub's owners were the inaugural winners of the Shrewsbury & West Shropshire 'Bill Bainbridge' Trophy, a new local award for saving or resurrecting a Real Ale facility. This recognized their work in restoring the Cock & Greyhound.
