This Pub is Closed Long Term
A late 19th century building on the corner Sandy Hill Road and Burrage Place, the Melbourne Arms is a rare surviving example of the once prolific street corner pubs in this area. The interior is now a single room with an original roof lantern providing natural light to the back part. Refurbished in 2015. There are two darts oches and multiple TVs showing sport. One of the walls is devoted to photographs of long closed local pubs. Cask ale withdrawn in 2021 following a change in licensee.
