Tucked away beside the church and very close to the Dartmouth Steam Railway terminal, this 15th-century pub is a focus for the village and has a welcoming atmosphere. A dining room that leads off from the horseshoe shaped bar has beautiful views from the window table and the outside patio of the River Dart and Dartmouth. Log fires and nautical memorabilia add to its charm. A minimum of four beers are available in winter, more in summer. During the peak season the pub is open until 11pm seven days a week.
