1620 the year two sailing ships, The Mayflower & Speedwell, left Dartmouth for faraway shores with the first settlers to cross the Atlantic. Just off the south embankment river front, Bar 1620 is housed in the original post office sorting office, It is a mecca for all things cocktail, spirit, wine & beer related, also serving ice cold lagers, IPA’s and cider on keg, along with a selection of bottled craft beers from around the world. The bar is available for private functions. A regular house DJ plus live music, funk, jazz, an eclectic mix.
