Closed suddenly in April 2016 and reopened December 2017 under enthusiastic new ownership. This Grade ll C17 Cotswold country pub doesn't seem sure if it is in Oxfordshire or Gloucestershire (it's in Oxfordshire with a Gloucestershire postcode). There is a Saxon church in the village with some important Saxon remains. There are 2 rooms, one with the smallest bar you are ever likely to come across. Claims to do just 'good, simple, pub food' but has won many awards.
