This Pub is Closed Long Term
Ancient stone building dating from 1445 that was once a dormitory for Littlemore Priory. It became a farmhouse when the priory closed and recently a country club, and in 1990 was made into a pub. Success and future tied to that of the Kassam Stadium and the Oxford Science Park; the pub made most of its money on football days, for which it had a large marquee. Hotel has been built adjacent and apparently a condition was that pub building be repaired but no action at March 2016.
