Food focused pub with main bar running around seated dining areas. Meal deals available including for over 60s. Part of Stadium Leisure group, almost opposite their main premises.

Historic Interest

Originally the Haven, it was opened in September 1971 to a design by architects W.B.Starr, Clifford & Carman for James Shipstone & Sons. More recently named the Skillet and Sixpence, the Willow Tree has an "L"-shaped plan, the two bars entered from a corner entrance with the lavatories. It is relatively little altered but very plain; the bar counters survive but there are more recent tables and chairs. Large rear area with a bottle store and beer cellar all at ground level (Elain Harwood / Historic England).
