Close to the old Shipstone's brewery, this freehouse has a large range of cask ales from both local and national breweries. The décor is bare brick walls, wooden floors, with plenty of seating. A large heated patio and spacious garden are outside. Inside, you will find a large well (the barrel drop), where you can see down into the cellars below. Live music is a regular feature. Trams from the City to Shipstone Street, next to Black Iris brewery.
