This Pub is Permanently Closed
Was closed for major refurbishment that was planned by Ribble Valley Inns but they have sold the pub. The new owners are planning to convert the building to offices.
This rather stark looking brick building belies the warm and friendly atmosphere inside the bar. The lunch time trade comprises casual visitors or business diners who can pre-order their meal if time is short. The early and late evening finds regulars at the bar, whilst the good value meals are popular during mid evening. Two real fires warm the pub on cold evenings, whilst summer drinkers can enjoy open views across fields to the rear.
Following purchase as a free house late in 2009, the pub is now open and serving food all day, the interior has been redecorated (with new carpets yet to come), and it is intended to replace the Bombardier with a rotating guest from local micros.
