A large, mainly open-plan, welcoming village pub in the outer suburbs of Southampton. The pub has wooden floors, contemporary horns themed grey decor and beer jugs/tankards above the bar. To the left of the pub is a large, well kept, enclosed, paved garden with plenty of seating, some of which is under cover. Varied modern pub menu with specials and roasts on Sunday.

A quiz is held on Tuesdays; Open Mic Night on Wednesdays; and monthly Saturday bands provide entertainment. In 2023 it held a cider & sausage festival.

Rugby and cricket are shown when on terrestrial TV.
